While we cannot gather this year for our annual Crush for the Crash wine fundraising event, we CAN offer an event online! Generous donors have helped us put together really nice “baskets of cheer” for us to offer in a raffle. All proceeds will support our mission and go towards the ongoing support of our orphan, Ribbon, in South Africa who is in a sanctuary since her mom was killed by poachers. We also support the rangers who oversee the safety of our rhinos in Africa – including Franklin and Liberty, the two rhinos whose move from South Africa to Botswana was funded by PARCA. With tourism shut down, funding for programs has been severely cut and poachers can move about more freely without as many people around. We thank you for supporting our efforts to save this iconic species and support the people on the ground doing the hands-on work!
PARCA has been working to help protect the rhinoceros since 2015. First and foremost our work raises much-needed funds to enable groups in Africa to protect and care for rhinos. We advocate for and educate the public about rhino conservation and the critical nature of this issue. We are a U.S. public charity under IRS Section 501(c)(3).
Our vision is a world where the rhinoceros lives free from the threat of extinction in natural habitats that are preserved forever.
Our mission is to fund the relocation and protection of wild rhinos, fund the care of young rhinos orphaned by poaching, and raise public awareness about their plight.
